The only instructions I found seemed to be for the R3000 which has an integral LCD screen; R2000 does not. I originally installed my R2000 for USB connection.
Later I decided to go with WiFi. I simply unplugged the USB, went to Start / Devices and Printers and clicked on ADD printer and chose Network printers. My R2000 showed up on the list with an IP address I clicked it and within a few minutes the driver was installed and I had a perfectly working WiFi version of the R2000. ADD the Printer in the Devices and Printers Tab and you will see it pop up in the list. You driver is already in your PC from when you originally installed it.
So just ADD it and the WiFi version will be installed for you. I've done it on my WIN 7 PC.
Originally having installed for strictly USB connectivity and changing my mind later on switched to WiFi. Athegn wrote: I cannot seem to find instructions on how to change my R2000 from USB printing to wifi printing. There are instructions on a new installation but not a change of printing method. Can anyone please advise? Now you've got the right drivers, and have got wifi connection, I'll be interested to hear how you get on.
The reason I ask: I have 3 Epson printers with network connection, and have found wifi less reliable than Ethernet. Sometimes one or more of my PCs or laptops simply refuse to see a wifi-connected Epson printer unless I reboot the printer (turn it off and on again) and sometimes disable/re-enable the wifi connection on the PC. Assigning a fixed IP address for wifi-connected printers in my router helps, but it's still not perfect. It's not a wifi signal issue: it's a failure to connect. One of my Epson printers (XP-610) has only wifi or USB - no Ethernet - so it's a bit of a niggle. PS - I also have an R2000, but connect that by Ethernet. I am returning to this because I have lost my wi-fi printing due to a change of SSID.
I have the printer connected and working properly on a USB cable from my PC. But when I try to scan from my tablet, which is on the new SSID, it cannot find my R2000 (finds my HP because its SSID is updated) I think the problem is the wrong SSID.
