I have a HP laptop running Windows 7 RC, When I first installed Windows 7 Beta, it downloaded the driver through Windows Update. It never worked properly but I guess thats why they call it a Beta:P But anyway, When I done a clean install of the RC. No driver for the HP Data sensor came down. I looked into it (It shows up in Device Manager as 'Unknown Device', has the Hardware ID of HPQ0004). I found Windows Update Cateolog, Nothing.

There is onlny a driver for Windows XP. I was wondering, has it been taken off (Since I got it through Windows Update in the Beta?) I have found a Vista driver but it does not work. The Windows XP driver does not work either.

You can find it on HP website: I have Hp 6730b model, but after succesful installation it still says my HDD isn't supported.:( But if you only need to get rid of that 'Unknown Device' in DM, this the solution;) Marcel.
