Hi deanie44, You should find the drivers on the Acer website.
Nov 20, 2016 Windows 10 Drivers for PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller. I have found the right driver for the PCI E/D. Go to HP site. Driver for pci encryption/decryption controller not installed. But says no driver available. I can't find a driver with that name.
I had a look but you will need to be more specific with the model number. Is It an Acer Aspire E17 with a number like ES1-711, that's the closest I could find. I would go for the network drivers and chipset drivers first but really you should update them all. You can check the ones you need by looking in Device Manager and making sure you get the right one, e.g for network if your Device Manager says Realtek you know it is the Realtek driver you need. The site I used is.

Hello Paul Your instructions have sorted out the driver issue flagged up as for the PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller so thanks for that advice and guidance. What I am now left with are five Unknown Device items listed under Other Devices in Device Manager. They were there before under the PCI item. Do you have any further advice on what I might be able to do sort out these 5 items? Opening up the files they refer to Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System and state 'drivers for this device not installed (code 28).
Como Usar Php Serial Extension there. I hope you can help further. Many thanks L.
